General Information/Assignment Scope:

SAP ANALYST

Located in Kenedy, TX

Hybrid schedule (Work from home Wednesday & Friday)

Duration 12 months

Key Accountabilities

* Performs SAP programming by completing complex integration projects and business requirements

* Good understanding of out-of-the-box business process flows and master data in SAP for respective area of experience

* Provides tier I and II SAP Production Support

* Experienced in both procedural and object-oriented SAP ABAP programming

* Develops SAP RICEFW specification documentation and possibly reviews the technical documentation and code of colleagues

* Partner with other SAP functional and technical teams to discuss and design solutions for business issues and requirements

* Participates in UTP, UAT and sign off of deliverables prior to migration to production

* Documents all system changes by following current change and release management procedures

* Places strong emphasis on programming principles of security, performance, scalability and reliability on own code and the code of others

* Participates in SAP upgrade cycles by assisting with testing, OSS notes, debugging and logging defects

* Reviews and requests application of OSS notes to SAP landscape; tests and migrates the provided soutions

* Stays up to date with both SAP and general ERP industry trends and technologies

* Assists with or implements SAP OSS notes; communicates with SAP during complex issues that require SAP assistance or review

Required and Preferred Skills and Experience

* Senior level, typically 7+ years of experience.

* Track record of solving complex issues and business requirements for SAP business processes

* Experience of all SDLC processes; implementation of new deliverables, and application lifecycle management best practices

* Able to apply knowledge and experience to complex problems and develop recommendations

* Makes sound decisions after thinking of and taking most known business and IT factors into account in a team environment

* Excellent communicator who thinks strategically, able to communicate technical topics to audiences with different backgrounds

* Able to provide updates and presentation content in fast-paced project environments, sometimes to larger audiences comprised of both business and IT

* Acts as an informal resource for, and mentors others with less experience
