ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Seek out, hire and train group labor to be event week staff for any or all positions needed; including but not limited to ushers, gate staff, tram operations, greeters, info booth workers, ADA golf cart operations etc...
  • Supplement group labor if needed and work with staffing agency for NASCAR Cup series weekend to ensure proper staffing levels
  • Complete and oversee Race Week end staff training program
  • Tracking of staff payroll for each event; track rentals, car shows, NASCAR and Indy car weekend
  • Create pre-event and post-event staffing reports for above mentioned events
  • Staff and schedule Law Enforcement, medical and fire safety crews for NASCAR weekend and any track rentals in need of staff
  • Represent the Superspeedway in an administrative capacity during assigned event
  • Create seasonal worker information packets for events
  • Bring fresh and exciting ideas for potential revenue sources and expense savings
  • Oversee inventory of staffing uniforms (Shirts, vests, hats etc)
  • Booking and execution of contracts and operational needs for Fan Zone Entertainment for NASCAR Cup series.
  • Work closely with Corporate Sales department through all aspects of track rentals and client services
  • Front facing client relations and will be on site contact for track rentals representing Nashville Superspeedway Operations. Build upon relationships with track rental clients to build trust and a returning customer base
  • Responsible to advance staffing for track rentals, act as manager on duty and reconcile settlement for track rentals
  • Oversee the setup, event needs and tear down of track rentals
  • Compile working documents with event riders, settlement sheets and actual costs for any and all track rentals
  • Input requisitions to produce Purchase orders for all track rentals and as needed in support of other events
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Act as manager on duty for events assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Note: High School diploma and five years directly related experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree two years directly related experience is required
  • Entry level position
  • Must work nights, weekends, and holidays as assigned
  • Must be proficient with MS-Office (Excel, Access and Word).
