Job Description:
The Executive Assistant position provides executive-level strategic, fiscal, and operational support for the Vice President for Student Affairs. Primary functions include daily office management inclusive of scheduling and calendar management and travel coordination, project coordination, oversight and assessment, research and data analysis related to trends and best practices, developing reports, graphic presentations, and communications. The position works in partnership with Division leadership to refine and implement a divisional strategy to achieve metrics and targets outlined in the University's strategic plan. This position requires a strategic mindset and strong organizational skills to support the efficient and effective execution of administrative and fiscal responsibilities. A high level of confidentiality and discretion is required. This position communicates directly with a diverse range of individuals both internal and external to the Division and University and has leadership responsibilities related to Division budget development and personnel management.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Office 365/Microsoft Office and other current business applications (e.g. Zoom, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret and communicate University and State policies and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in higher education or a governmental executive administrative, project coordination or similar position is highly desirable. Experience with Banner is preferred. Experience with state purchasing systems is preferred.
