Midpoint - $114,483
Maximum - $137,380

Job Summary

Directs and oversees through subordinate administrators, the activities of staff who develop and coordinate an operations program for the assigned department. Ensures that the operations supports the educational mission of the School District. For the Family and Community Engagement specialty, directs and oversees through subordinate administrators, the activities of staff who support partnerships among schools, families and communities and strive to engage and inform parent leaders and families as essential partners in helping students achieve academic proficiency and college and career readiness. For the Student Support Services specialty, oversees the operations of multiple departments in Student Support Services.
Essential Functions:
Professional Learning Specialty



• Supervise a staff of professional employees who are responsible for operations, budget, communication, program evaluation, and procurement related to professional learning.

• Plans and organizes the system of meetings that supports collaboration and development across all Office of Professional Learning members.

• Directly manage operational personnel across the office, including senior project manager, project managers, and program coordinator.

• Manage procurement processes, action items, and limited contracts, including serving as the liaison with the Office of Grant Compliance.

• Keeps abreast of the latest developments in the operation of teacher, leader, and professional learning programs, including the implementation of the exemplary teacher and leader video library.

• Lead the research, evaluation, and data analysis for professional learning initiatives and activities across the district.

• Evaluates external and internal grant possibilities and coordinates support on writing and designing grant content to extend District opportunities.

• Liaise with other Office of Professional Learning leaders and teams to design operational systems that support professional learning of all role groups as well as internal office operations.

• Liaise with the Office of Talent regarding Act 45, Act 48, and PILS

• Establish and oversee the operations and communication for all district-wide professional days.Minimum Requirements Family and Community Engagement Specialty

• Bachelor's degree program from an accredited college or university.

• Ten years of full-time, paid, professional operations experience, five of which has been in an administrative or supervisory capacity and has included responsibility for family and community engagement.

OR

• Any equivalent combination of education and experience determined to be acceptable by the Office of Talent.
