Position: Supply Technician

Job Description:

Receive material deliveries
Assure materials received are not damaged and sign documents as appropriate
Identify, separate and stage stock inventory from non-stock inventory.
Stores and delivers materials being mindful of stock description, unit of measure, expiration dates, and appropriate storage guidelines.
Accurately match requested/needed materials with respect of quantity and correctness of product.
Complies with expected procedures for all paperwork and signatures.
Transport materials following expected safety and infection control standards and practices. Covers materials not contained in boxes during transport.
Check supplies for condition of product , correct catalog numbers, quantities. expiration dates, and size of items.
Performs all replenishment and distribution processes with accuracy and attention to detail.
Assists in the maintenance and accuracy of inventory and other supplies to include such actions as participation in routine cycle counting, accuracy with units of issue, credits and debits to inventory, annual inventory and readjustments to re-order points, as necessary or appropriate.
Mentor and train new Supply Chain technicians with Supply Chain processes, protocols, and procedures.
Serves as a role model to other employees through work habits, demeanor and behavior. Able to work effectively with other employees, supervisors, and external parties.
Remains in assigned areas to complete all assignments in a timely manner.
Other Duties:
Provide clerical support including telephone and email request. Answers telephone in a pleasant and cordial manner, identifying name and department.
Maintains work areas and equipment in a neat and presentable manner.
Maintains technical competence
Establishes and maintains long-term custom relationships.
Responsive to service request and service recovery.
Stores materials and carts in appropriate storage locations without violating safety standards or regulatory agency guidelines.
Able to operate basic material handling equipment such as manual and electric pallet jacks.
Qualifications:

High School Diploma, GED, or Cert required
?Self starter with excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills required
Must be able to prioritize tasks, work independently as well as a member of a team, and perform job duties in a potential stressful environment.
Must have basic computer skills and be able to perform basic mathematical functions.
Driver's license (FL) is required; based on departmental need.
Minimum Experience: 2 yrs
