Job Description:

The Florida Museum of Natural History is seeking a part-time Federal Work Study (FWS) student to assist the Collection Manager with collection curation.

Students will gain valuable experience in zooarchaeological data recording and collection curation. Prior experience is not required but experience in biology, taxonomy and skeletal anatomy or related fields would be helpful. All necessary training and supervision will be provided. Applicants must be FWS qualified.

This position is part time at 15-20 hours per week.

Expected Salary:

$13/hr

Minimum Requirements:
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets are mandatory.
  • Must be eligible for Federal Work Study
Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience is not required but experience in biology, taxonomy and skeletal anatomy or related fields would be helpful.
