The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer in the Department of Medicine, the Financial Analyst provides support and analysis for day-to-day activities. The candidate will interact with the Divisions, as well as with Department Senior Management.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and upload monthly journal entries via the accounting system
  • Prepare monthly and ad hoc clinical reporting statements for distribution to the Divisions and the Department Senior Management
  • Update the Department space database on a monthly basis
  • Participate in quarterly budget updates: prepare and process budget entries
  • Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in education and/or experience, plus two years of related experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical and problem solving skills

Other Requirements
  • Successful completion of applicable compliance and systems training requirements
