Opportunity Details

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for reporting the division's budget and actual expenses, including maintenance, variance and financial analysis and review of division expenditures.
  • Prepare site specific financial reports, inclusive of budget against actual expenses, grant funding utilization, and site program expenses, produced monthly and presented to site leadership\
  • Monitor and maintain site budget, inclusive of payroll and other expense reporting
  • Report budget variances to site leadership and collaborate with facility finance department to process appropriate adjustments
  • Review outside services/subcontractor invoices for accuracy and compliance with contract terms
  • Monitor and reconcile payroll expenditures for compliance with contract terms, policies and procedures, and assist in accurate accounting of all expenditures
  • Support of financial and operational decisions as needed, including payroll and accounting team functions and contract negotiations
  • Create and send ad-hoc reports as needed


Qualifications

  • Previous healthcare experience
  • Experience working with staffing budgets
  • Excellent communication, inclusive of verbal and presentation skills
  • Experience interpreting financial terms in union collective bargaining agreements
  • Excellent Excel and analytical skills, ability to summarize reports into meaningful information
  • Ability to organize and simplify large data sets for presentation to non-financial stakeholders
  • Familiarity with creating reports in payroll and accounting systems a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or other related field preferred
