The Office of Budget and Management, Financial Support Services division, are seeking two Financial Program Managers to join our team. These positions are leadership roles responsible for the management of accounts payable processing for the state of Ohio. The ideal candidates will have a degree in public or business administration, accounting, or finance. Experience administering payments efficiently and securely in a government setting or large-scale enterprise is a plus.

In this role, you will perform these key tasks:

• Oversee the management of the accounts payable process.

• Support travel and supplier operations functions via the travel module and supplier data management.

• Mitigate risks through application of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).

• Provide program direction and guidance to staff, senior management, state agencies, and suppliers.

• Develop processes to continuously improve accounts payable processes.

Qualifications

54 mos. exp. or 54 mos. trg. financial administration.

-Or completion of undergraduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 30 mos. exp. or 30 mos. trg. in financial administration.

-Or completion of graduate core program in public or business administration, accounting, finance or related field; 18 mos. exp. or 18 mos. trg. in financial administration.

-Or equivalent of Minimum Class Qualifications for Employment noted above. NOTE: Successful completion of the Fiscal Academy may be substituted for 4 mos. of required accounting/fiscal experience referenced in this portion of the minimum qualifications.
