LaSalle Network has partnered with them in seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Fixed Asset Staff Accountant to join their accounting team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills and a passion for contributing to the financial success of a dynamic company in the tech infrastructure industry.

Fixed Asset Staff Accountant Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the fixed asset ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of asset records
  • Track and record acquisitions, disposals, transfers and impairments of fixed assets
  • Conduct periodic physical inventories of fixed assets and reconcile discrepancies
  • Calculate and record depreciation for all fixed assets in compliance with GAAP and company policies
  • Review and update depreciation schedules regularly to ensure accuracy
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual fixed asset reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures related to fixed assets
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures related to fixed asset management
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in fixed asset accounting and reporting
  • Implement best practices and automated solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Work closely with the procurement, project management and operations teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of fixed assets
  • Provide support and training to other departments on fixed asset policies and procedures

Fixed Asset Staff Accountant Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field required
  • 3+ years of fixed asset experience
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle. Netsuite)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (PivotTables & VLOOKUPs required)
  • Strong understanding of GAAP
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
