The FID Capital Introduction Group is looking for an experienced Vice President or Executive Director level candidate to join the team. The FID Cap Intro VP / ED role will assist in the introduction/distribution of alternative investment funds across multiple asset classes within Fixed Income (including but not limited to private credit, opportunistic credit, real estate, specialty finance).

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $225,000 and $250,000 per year for Vice President title and between $250,000 and $300,000 per year for Executive Director title at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.

The FID Capital Introduction Group is looking for an experienced Vice President or Executive Director level candidate to join the team. The FID Cap Intro VP / ED role will assist in the introduction/distribution of alternative investment funds across multiple asset classes within Fixed Income (including but not limited to private credit, opportunistic credit, real estate, specialty finance).
Responsibilities:
- Reports directly to our Global Head of FID Capital Introduction
- Build and maintain relationships with potential LPs with the help of existing team relationships - targeting, amongst other sub-asset classes, Private Credit, Opportunistic Credit, Real Estate, Real Assets
- LP investor types include: pension funds, endowments, foundations, insurance companies, fund of funds, family offices, consultants, OCIOs, sovereign wealth funds etc.
- Manage a series of LP investor dialogues regarding the GPs/funds that are on the FID Cap Intro platform - keeping the GPs and colleagues up-to-date with the status of the dialogues with LPs.
- Handle additional investment reverse-enquiries from LPs to meet their demand in fields where MS can maximize business opportunities across the ecosystem.
Qualifications:
You have:
- Existing rolodex of LP investor relationships (North America preferred, a plus if Global or specific focus on niche investor base).
- Willingness to pick-up existing team relationships with LPs as well as creating new relationships with identified potential LP investors
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability of dealing with clients at a senior level and responding to detailed and challenging questions.
- Knowledge of capital raising/placement/sales processes
- Ability to understand alternative investment products, Private Credit, Opportunistic Credit, Real Estate, Real Assets, and Private Equity products.
- Min Required: B.S. or B.A. or equivalent.
- Min Required:7+ years related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and CR-related software to track interactions and introductions are a plus.
