Overview:
Reputable food & beverage manufacturing company is seeking a contract Food Lab Tech to support in sample preparation and testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Sample preparation inclusive of wet blends, dry blends, and application-based samples (i.e., recipe execution).
  • Ingredient selection and management of raw materials.
  • Basic product testing and data gathering especially focused on data related to sensory feedback on specific products.
  • Hands-on assistance for the entire upstream team along with formulation creation and project guidance.


Requirements:

  • B.S. or M.S in Chemistry, Food Science, Culinary Science, Nutrition Science, or other related science
  • Experience working in a laboratory or kitchen environment required
  • Ability to work independently, quickly learn new tasks, solve problems, and show strong initiative
