Laboratory Technician

Piper Health Sciences is seeking an Laboratory Technician to join a biotech company located in Baltimore, MD. The Laboratory Technician will participate in the quality control testing of immunotherapy products.

Responsibilities of the Laboratory Technician include:

• Perform testing on raw materials, in product, and finished products
• Perform ELISA assays, western blots, and cell culture activities in support of their products
• Diagnosing minor issues with the QC testing assays
• Prepare buffers and reagents for testing
• Following SOPs (Standard Operating Procedure) and keep detailed records of experiments

Qualifications for the Laboratory Technician include:

• 0-4 years of experience in a lab environment
• Experience with Immunoassays, ELISA, Western Blot, Cell Base Assays, DNA/RNA extraction, and/or Buffer & Media Prep
• Associates degree with 1+ years of experience in related field or Bachelor of Science degree in related field (Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry, or Chemistry, etc.)

Compensation for the Laboratory Technician include:

• Salary Range: $16 - $18/hour depending on experience
