We are seeking a talented and experienced GCP Network Engineer with strong DevOps skills to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the networking infrastructure within Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments. Additionally, you will play a key role in automating infrastructure deployment and configuration using DevOps practices and tools. Additional responsibilities include:
- Design, implement, and manage networking solutions within GCP environments, including virtual private clouds (VPCs), subnets, firewall rules, and routing configurations.
- Implement and maintain network security measures such as firewalls, access controls, VPNs, and encryption to protect data and resources.
- Optimize network performance and reliability by configuring load balancers, CDN integration, and traffic routing. Develop automation scripts and infrastructure as code (IaC) templates to deploy and manage networking resources using DevOps tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate networking requirements into overall cloud architecture and support application deployment and operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including connectivity problems, performance bottlenecks, and security breaches.
- Document network configurations, best practices, and procedures, and provide training and guidance to other team members or stakeholders.

Stay updated on the latest developments in cloud networking technologies and best practices, and evaluate new GCP features and services.

Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in designing, implementing, and managing networking infrastructure within GCP environments.
- In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and routing.
- Experience with GCP networking services such as VPC, Cloud Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, and Cloud CDN.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools for infrastructure automation and configuration management (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze network traffic, logs, and monitoring metrics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- GCP certification(s) such as Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Network Engineer is a plus.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
