QED National is seeking a Network Engineer for a 1+ year contract located in New York, NY (various city locations, 100% onsite).

The role is set to begin very quickly and set up a team of onsite consultants at various NY-area locations who can assist the client's Operational Technology (OT) groups in supporting new and ongoing cybersecurity projects.

Pay rate range: $48.93/hr - $54.63/hr

As such we are looking for a Network Engineer with the following skill set:

Years of experience:

• Must have an Associates, Bachelors, Masters and/or PHD and 2+ years of experience

Mandatory Required Skills:

• Understanding of Network Concepts (e.g. Subnetting, Protocols, OSI model, etc.).
• Experience in Implementing/Managing/Troubleshooting Network Infrastructure (e.g. Routers, Switches, etc.).
• Understanding of Tools/Strategies to implement Network Security (e.g. CISCO ISE, AAA Framework, etc.).

Experience with the following:

• BGP, OSPF and Switching (Cisco)
• Network Segmentation and Isolation
• Cisco ISE/Stealthwatch
• Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting (AAA)
• DWDM and SONET

Must have Knowledge of:

• Virtualization and Infrastructure (VMware, Virtual Switches)
• Vulnerability and Patch Management
• Containment/Protection Tools for OT Environments (Forescout)
• Data Analysis
• Nozomi maintenance and management
• Gigamon maintenance and management experience

Nice to have experience with the following:

• Physical Access Control Systems
• Video Management Systems
• Endpoint Credential Management
• Privileged Access Management
• Threat Detection and Vulnerability Assessment
• TDI administration and management
