Job Summary

This position is responsible for all cleaning and general maintenance services throughout the campus. Provide a safe, clean environment for employees and students. Assist in safety, security, maintenance, and operations of St. Cloud Technical and Community College. This is an evening position with shift differential starting after 6pm. The pay range for this opportunity is $20.21/hr-$25.05/hr.

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to separate trash from recyclables and hazardous waste
Ability to work inside or outside in adverse weather.
Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to communicate with a culturally and ethnically diverse student and community population.
Ability to perform assigned task with limited supervision.
Ability to communicate with others in a cooperative and respectful manner.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.
Ability to report to work regularly and on time.

Preferred Qualification

Knowledge of warehousing systems for proper storage and inventory of various supplies both on and off of school property.

Thorough knowledge of operation of power scrubbers, carpet extractors, wet vacuums, snow blowers, dry vacuums, hoist, and other maintenance equipment

Knowledge and ability to operate a Skid Loader.

Work on a ladder or scaffold and high lifts.

Knowledge of different cleaning chemicals and where and how to use them.

Knowledge of types of floor coverings for proper maintenance procedures
