Giving Grace Resource Development VISTA

Giving Grace serves families with children in Denton County who are currently homeless or are in danger of becoming homeless. These families and individuals have the desire and ability to establish and maintain self-reliance and self-sufficiency. We offer a variety of programs to meet the needs of families and assist them in achieving long term financial and personal stability. The approach is holistic, and the goal is to break the cycle of generational poverty. The Resource Development VISTA work with the CEO and CPO with grant development and management of the grants. The VISTA member will also learn and work with the new database Apricot and collect data for leadership reports and train new staff creating an internal training manual.

Member Duties : The Policy and Procedure VISTA will work with the Executive Director to help establish intra-organizational systems by merging all systems: Accounting, HR and IT of new organization. The VISTA will be instrumental in developing and establishing policies and procedures for programmatic operations. The VISTA will work in partnership with the leadership team to document and best practices for each department and train staff.
