We are looking for someone with demonstrated experience in data science, computer science and quantitative analytics with the desire to apply these skills to the strategic advisory and capital markets.

Your team

he Global Banking Data Lab is a team of data scientists, quants and developers with a passion for finance and investment banking. We design algorithms and software to bring data science and predictive analytics into our business, build digital workflows that unleash productivity and connect with clients in new ways. We work alongside bankers to be close to clients and deal activity, putting us in the optimal environment to discover innovation opportunities and make a difference.

The Global Banking Data Lab is part of the larger Digital Platforms horizontal in the Investment Bank, where business and technology experts come together to drive the exponential transformation from traditional to digital investment banking through experimentation, innovation and external partnerships.

Your expertise

Your expertise :
• Experience as a Data Scientist or Quantitative Developer
• you are competent at coding in a programming language like Python, R, JavaScript, Java, C/C++ or similar
• you have excellent verbal and written communication skills
• excellent academic track record in a quantitative discipline such as math, science, engineering or similar field
• you are a great team player
• a self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude
• experience as a researcher, project manager and team leader
• prior industry experience in finance, such as investment banking, asset management, sales & trading, risk management or similar in a business or IT role is a plus
• experience with any of the following are considered a plus: Python data science stack, SQL and no-SQL databases, Apache Spark and similar, UX design and web app development, and functional programming
