Summary of Position

The Global Education Services Coordinator's role is to give administrative support to the Enrollment Manager, Advisors, Director, and other staff. Responsibilities include assisting the Enrollment Manager with student application, registration, and preparation processes as well as post-global experience duties such as the processing of transcripts; with the help of the Risk Management Coordinator ensure international travel policy compliance; coordinate with Academic Affairs administrative staff on the processing of financial transactions such as department bills and purchases, distributing funds and scholarships, maintaining budget records and reconciling expenses with monthly financial reports; serve as the initial contact for students, faculty, and staff re. global opportunities; organize and plan logistics re. events and meetings; cover the front desk as needed.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the global higher education industry's policies and best practices; experience with education (abroad) software systems such as Via TRM , Canvas; experience with financial data and processes; experience with compiling and reporting of data is highly desirable. The individual needs to be willing to work occasionally on Saturdays during the academic year.

Duty/Responsibility

Provide administrative support for student enrollment management:
  • Help with the processing and follow-up of student applications and forms in UNH -Via, the platform used for program search, application, registration, communication, and reporting.
  • Assist students in following application and registration procedures associated with enrollment and track student compliance.
  • Process transcripts.
  • Assist with the creation and updating of UNH -Via applications and forms as needed.
  • Liaise with related offices, including Student Accounts, Registrar's, Financial Aid, Academic Affairs, etc. as needed.
  • Assist with the creation and maintenance of Canvas courses as needed.

Duty/Responsibility

Ensure risk management compliance:
Assist the Risk Management Coordinator with the UNH International Travel Registry for University-related travel by individual students, student groups, faculty, and staff to ensure compliance with the UNH international travel policies. This includes study abroad and other international experiences such as research, internships, conferences, and student group trips. Duties include:

  • Gather trip information from students, faculty, and staff.
  • Create new traveler records and merge profiles when necessary.
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for students, faculty, and staff regarding the UNH International Travel Registry and insurance.
  • Ensure correct faculty access to the travel registry and records.
  • In collaboration with the Risk Management Coordinator, share travel registry and app instructions with faculty/staff and students, following up as needed.
  • Track compliance with the travel registry and app, following up as needed.
  • Prepare relevant reports for the Risk Management Coordinator.
  • Issue insurance confirmation of coverage letters.
  • Support and monitor student compliance with completing the ISOS e-learning modules.
  • In collaboration with the Risk Management Coordinator, set up training sessions as needed.

Duty/Responsibility

Coordinate and administer the department's financial and administrative transactions:
  • Coordinate the payment of bills and purchases with Academic Affairs administrative staff.
  • In collaboration with Academic Affairs administrative staff, oversee and distribute funds for faculty international development grants and student global education scholarships.
  • Collaborate with Academic Affairs administrative staff re. budget records and reconciling expenses with monthly reports.
  • Serve as point person for the repository of global exchange and other agreements/contracts.
    • prefill basic information into templates for new MoUs.
    • Coordinate signing processes.
    • Monitor expiration dates.



Duty/Responsibility

Organize logistics for events and meetings:
  • Assist with the planning and organization of events, including but not limited to the Global Education Fair, pre-departure orientations, and University Open Houses.
  • Reserve rooms and info tables.
  • Track event attendance.
  • Coordinate the updating and printing of all marketing materials, including brochures, pop-up stands, and postcards.
  • Update event information on the website and assist with other marketing/communication efforts.
  • Take meeting minutes as required.

Duty/Responsibility

Serve as initial inquiry contact:
  • Serve as the initial contact and information resource for all students seeking a global opportunity, as well as for faculty/staff looking for information about global education.
  • Cover the front desk as needed (in the absence of work-study students).



Other duties as assigned. The person in this position must be willing to occasionally work on Saturdays and some nights during the academic year. Daily supervision is done by the Global Education Enrollment Manager; functional supervision is done by the Director.
