Scope of Job

Student will be assisting with accounting related tasks within the Office of Research, such as credit card reconciliation, project and cost center reconciliation, expensing travel, preparing requisitions, drafting financial statements and reports, providing support to Research Faculty and Staff, among other duties and special projects as assigned.

Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
  • Accounting background (basic accounting classes).
  • Must be a graduate student.
  • Able to work well with diverse group of people including faculty, staff, and students.
  • Detail and Analytical oriented.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with staff/faculty.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, preferably in Excel.




Preferred Qualifications

Full time Graduate Student enrolled in Master in Accounting (MAcc) or Master in Business Administration ( MBA ) program.
