THE ROLE:
Park Hyatt Chicago is seeking an experienced Group Sales Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Group Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving group sales revenue through strategic planning, relationship building, and impeccable service delivery. Leveraging your extensive experience in the hospitality industry, you will cultivate and nurture relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and group organizers to maximize group bookings and revenue opportunities.

The salary range for this position is $60,100 - $87,000. Actual pay will commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES ( May i nclude but are not limited to );
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets for group bookings.
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities through targeted outreach and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, fostering loyalty and repeat bookings.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales, Events & Marketing and Director of Revenue Management to develop pricing strategies and packages that drive revenue growth.
- Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to potential clients, showcasing the unique offerings of Park Hyatt Chicago.
- Coordinate with various departments within the hotel to ensure seamless execution of group events, exceeding guest expectations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in group sales within the luxury hospitality sector.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong network of contacts within the corporate and events industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Sales/Bookings software.
