Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

To be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer Service and Stewardship by supporting strategic initiatives across the IDN through coordination of the Growth & Development department operations and projects. The Growth & Development Coordinator will assist with the coordination of a diverse number of provider department assignments. The growth & development coordinator is responsible for creation and review of various materials, resources and documents to support the Provider Strategy department, as well as the tracking of department projects and timelines.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Engagement:

  • Interacts with internal and external stakeholders (including management staff, associates, vendors and other guests) in a highly professional manner.
  • On occasion, represents the Growth & Development Department at internal meetings, or on calls with vendors.


Quality/No Harm:

  • Coordinates scheduling and meetings to ensure timely delivery of growth & development projects.
  • Prepares follow-up items and tracks delegated tasks within the department.
  • Conducts research by gathering data and preparing reports.
  • Provides follow-up and response to inquiries (e.g. surveys, external requests, etc).
  • Participates in the development and implementation of strategies in partnership with System Director of Growth & Development. Tracks progress and updates internal client on status.
  • Assist with the development, writing, and communication of provider strategic projects, and presentations to internal and external stakeholders.


Stewardship:

  • Coordinates and prepares monthly operating expense report, gathering supporting data for input into budget preparation and monitors monthly expenses to budget.
  • Prepares and tracks all contracts and invoices for external services (e.g. consulting).
  • Maintains records of all active contracts and agreements for department (e.g. NDA, BAA, etc).
  • Maintain marketing supplies for giveaways to provider offices.
  • Maintains any other relevant department files both physically and electronically.
  • Maintains and prepares payroll for the Growth & Development Department.


Customer Experience:

  • Organizes the preparation of proposals and presentations using internal and external resource materials, such as databases, reports, presentations, white papers, etc.
  • Maintains client and vendor relationships and serves as department liaison as assigned.
  • Represents Health First in a professional and polite manner when needed at external events.
  • Prepare and coordinate travel itinerary for new-hire physicians during the on-boarding process.


Qualifications:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Associate's degree required.
  • Minimum three years progressive experience in administrative support setting.
  • Minimum three years progressive experience in healthcare setting.
  • Excellent time management, and organizational skills.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to sit at a computer station for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

  • Familiar with fax, copy, scanning and filing.
