The Guest Services Operator is responsible for answering incoming calls to the resort, responding to inquiries from guests from the internal messaging platform, and taking all in room dining orders from guests. They must have excellent customer service and communication skills. They should have a pleasant attitude, professional phone demeanor, and efficient typing skills. The Guest Services Operator must work well handling a high volume of calls and guest inquiries. They should be well-informed on the resort and in room dining menu so that they can address guest concerns in a timely, knowledgeable and professional manner. As part of the Guest Services Department, they may be required to support the Front Office and Concierge teams to assist with addressing guest requests and arranging and delivering guest amenities.

Shift: This position requires a flexible schedule with availability for shifts from 3pm to 11pm. Weekends are required

The base pay for this position is $19/hr plus service charge and gratuities. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors including experience and training levels. Alila Ventana Big Sur is an all-inclusive resort which means select positions such as this are eligible to receive a service charge payout ranging from $200-$500 per week *subject to change based on business levels.
