This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at the California Science Center (CSC), a world-class science museum, that develops and features award-winning exhibits and internationally renowned education programs. The Science Center's workforce includes executive, managerial, supervisory, and administrative classifications. However, rank and file facility maintenance and skilled trades represent approximately fifty-one percent (51%) of its civil service workforce. We're seeking an Staff Services Analyst to join our team.

Under the supervision of the Health and Safety Programs Manager, the Staff Services Analyst will perform administrative and analytical duties to support to the health and safety programs and training needs of departments, including the California Science Center (CSC), the California African American Museum (CAAM), Office of Exposition Park Management (OEPM)/Department of Public Safety (DPS). Under the working title, Health and Safety Programs Analyst, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating Health and Safety Programs; Health and Safety audits, notices, documentation, signage, and supplies; training; and building access controls.

This position is located in Los Angeles, South of Downtown Los Angeles within Exposition Park. Parking is available at no cost to the employee. Work schedule will be during regular business hours from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. An alternate work schedule will be considered and remote work is available upon full on boarding determined by management.
