Under the direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSMI) of the Social Security Programs Unit (SSPU), the Staff Services Analyst (SSA) is responsible for a wide variety of less complex analytical assignments and tasks to support various programs. The Specialist performs program development, implementation and monitoring functions requiring knowledge of Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) and Social Security Administration regulations, policies, and procedures. The Social Security Specialist is responsible for developing, designing, and providing training and technical assistance on Social Security work incentive programs to DOR district staff, Central Office staff and DOR partners, serving as a liaison to the Social Security Administration's Area Work Incentives Coordinators (AWICs), Plan to Achieve Self Support (PASS) Specialists, Public Affairs Specialists, Ticket to Work Program Managers and Employment Networks (ENs), providing support to the SSMI for administration, development and day-to-day monitoring of the Work Incentives Planning Services program.

This position requires fingerprinting and a federal background investigation. If selected for this position, appointment is contingent on passing the federal background and fingerprinting check.

Occasional travel is required.

4. Describe a situation when you worked with a team to complete a complicated project. Describe the project and the role you played on the team.
