Wytheville Community College (WCC) is seeking a candidate to provides administrative and clinical eligibility assistance to the Dean of Health Professions and Medical Services, the programs in the division, and the students in the Health Professions and Medical Services programs. In addition to the administrative tasks of the division, the position will assist programs with clinical compliance as it pertains to clinical agency contracts, collecting student clinical compliance data, and communication with both students and program faculty of clinical eligibility needs.
Responsibilities will include:
Provide day-to-day operational support of the Health Professions and Medical Services Division;
Collect all clinical information from students who are involved with clinical rotations related to their program of study;
Serve as the point of contact for external clinical agency coordinators;
Provide administrative support to the Dean of Health Professions and Medical Services and the programs in the division;
Maintain department records and files; and
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working with internet applications and PC-based software (Microsoft Office, Zoom, Google Chrome, etc.):
Outstanding customer service experience;
Experience working in an office environment; and
Strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in office administration or related field;
Prior experience with record keeping; and
Experience in higher education and/or a healthcare clinical setting.
