Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Help Desk Technical Support 2 for a contract/hybrid opportunity in Newport News, VA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems. Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records. May route calls to product line specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases. Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 1 years of related experience
Customer service. Call center. Technical support (Windows).
- Experience supporting many applications including MS Office products, O365, VPN apps and many other business and engineering applications
- Experience doing technical support over the telephone and/or in chat
- Experience with troubleshooting Windows clients
- Experience working remotely
Equivalency: Associate's Degree and 1 years of experience. A relevant professional certification can be substituted for an Associate's Degree.
EDUCATION:
AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline is required.
School must be accredited.
HOURS:
5/40 workweek. Availability to work all three shifts. 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm), and 3rd Shift (11:30pm - 7:30am) this includes rotating weekend shifts
