Summary - Deskside Support I - Onsite in Lynchburg, VA - W2 only, No C2C - 6 month contract-to-hire
*Candidate needs to be able to commute to the location in Lynchburg, VA 5 days a week M-F*
*Candidate will need to be able to work on W2 without sponsorship*
Shift - Mon-Fri 9-5 EST
• Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 and 2 escalated technical issues
• Maintain and manage workload through computerized ITSM ticketing and tracking system
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and networking issues on laptops, PCs, thin clients and mobile devices
• Support, troubleshoot and train end users on Microsoft Office applications, including Office 365 email and Outlook
At a minimum, you'll need:
• 1 year of experience supporting networked systems and telephony equipment or worked a full internship in IT
• Experience installing, troubleshooting and supporting corporate AV equipment, and building, deploying and troubleshooting desktop computers in a corporate environment
It'd be great if you also have:
• Associate degree, bachelor's degree or vocational training in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
