Overview

Responsible for management and oversight of clinical, operational, financial operation and process for multi-site/multi-state agency locations. Creates and implements regional level operational business plan in alignment with company's strategic plan to enhance profitability, productivity and efficiency of region operations.

Responsibilities

  1. Plans and executes a regional operational business plan to operate a fiscally responsible and efficient business, identify new areas of growth and opportunities for improvement; monitors external environment as needed.
  2. Experienced in driving continuous improvement in cost management, leading initiatives that enhance efficiency and achieve cost leadership.
  3. Set goals, monitor work projects and evaluate results to ensure organizational objectives and operating requirements are met.
  4. Empower emerging leaders through tailored coaching and mentorship. Design and implement succession and career development strategies to nurture their growth. Ensure leadership development initiatives are seamlessly integrated with the organization's strategic goals.
  5. Collaborates with Compliance and regulatory departments to ensure adherence to expected standards.
  6. Collaborates with business development on clinical excellence differentiators.
  7. Drive quality metrics to increase performance on Hospice quality and support clinical distinction initiatives within the organization.
  8. Sets clearly defined goals for regional management and establishes and monitors specific, measurable objectives.
  9. Manages the region's operation and business development performance by advising, guiding, coaching, and holding regional leadership accountable for the achievement of Amedisys goals and objectives.
  10. Supports and participates in periodic review and inspection of a location's compliance to policies and procedures and ensures regulatory compliance.
  11. Leverages technology in creating solutions to problems of efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Strengthens an Amedisys culture of trust, respect and quality care by being a role model to others.
  13. Provide leadership to a large workforce, increases employee engagement through creating a positive culture of accountability and growth.
  14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required-
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or related field. Master's degree in Healthcare Management preferred OR a licensed physician, physical therapist, registered nurse or related field. Current license to practice in home state. If nursing license, must have a NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact) to practice in other states (both physical and electronic).
  • Ten years of supervisory or administrative experience in hospice/home health care or related health programs.
  • Experience managing a $50M+ organization.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of regulations and reimbursement in hospice/home health care.
