JOB DESCRIPTION

We have an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong desire to work in HR, to be a Human Resources (HR) Assistant/HR Coordinator for FOX Entertainment!!! The HR Assistant/HR Coordinator will be responsible for providing daily executive and administrative support for the EVP, Human Resources, and the HR team. In addition, the HR Assistant/HR Coordinator will assist in the development and delivery of a wide variety of HR programs and initiatives, related to business support training and development programming; onboarding and retention initiatives; HR/training and workforce metrics; HR policies, and rollout.

*Depending upon your experience you may be considered at either an HR Assistant or HR Coordinator level*

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet guests, answer and roll calls, schedule a heavy calendar, coordinate and maintain appointments/meetings, maintain files, book travel arrangements/reservations, and coordinate all other special projects
  • Act as liaison with other internal departments and external contacts to execute assignments and represent the HR department in a professional and efficient manner
  • Provide HR administrative support throughout employee life cycle, including initiating and monitoring consumer reports, managing Workday HCM onboarding portal, performance reviews, processing unemployment requests, and fielding day-to-day HR inquiries
  • Provide guidance to employees on all HR policies and procedures
  • Manage requests for data and distribute analysis of relevant HR data
  • Compile information for routine reporting and analysis (e.g. wage/salary analysis, retention)
  • Regularly interact and engage with the HR Leadership Team and key leaders across the HR function
  • Conduct general clerical duties, supporting the Human Resources department activities as needed
  • Interpret policies, answer questions, and counsel associates regarding policies
  • Coordinate and facilitate workforce training (including new hire orientation) as needed
  • Maintain HRIS databases. Verify accuracy of data, investigate causes of discrepancies, and make necessary corrections
  • Offboard all separating employees, which includes COBRA administration
  • Keep current on Company projects, events, and issues and provide updates to the HR team
  • Coordinate travel arrangements (domestic and international) and other administrative duties (i.e. processing travel and expense reports, filing, etc.)
  • Assist with departmental projects and events as needed


WHAT YOU WILL NEED
  • Previous HR/Internship experience
  • Team-player who operates in a fast-paced setting
  • Understanding of how to prioritize and respond accordingly to changing business needs
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Superb organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Advanced Excel, Powerpoint, and Keynote
  • Able to organize and establish administrative procedures independently, draft correspondence and reports, and work under pressure
  • Ability to handle confidential information and interact with high-level executives
  • Office coverage requires extended work hours - must be available to work overtime

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with HRIS system
  • Prior experience in managing projects and processes (school or work-related)

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $22.25-29.00 per hour for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
