This position is within FSU's Department of Information Technology Services (ITS)

The Identity and Access Management team works with university resources to create and maintain user identity and facilitate user lifecycle, authorization and access management for connected systems and applications.

Responsibilities

The position is responsible for developing, supporting, maintenance for the enterprise systems supporting identity, access management, and authentication services.

Provides support for Identity and Access Management (IAM) related business processes and related data integration between source systems, enterprise identity management systems, target systems, other University entities, and Direct Support Organizations. Works with multiple functional and technical areas to identify, resolve, and mitigate identity and access management issues. Escalates issues to FSU's development teams as appropriate. Provides support for Duo and the Duo Access Gateway and Multi-Factor Authentication services.

Analyzes requests for modifications, configuration changes, enhancements, and workarounds as necessary. Ensures requests are made and approved through appropriate channels. Works proactively with FSU business analysts, functional owners, and data owners to address opportunities for increased efficiencies and provide solutions for recurring issues. Follows established procedures for testing and migration of fixes. Provides clear and sufficient documentation of issues and subsequent resolutions, updates tickets, and cases. Updates test scripts and configuration documents to accommodate modifications and configuration changes. Develops test scenarios.

Contributes to ongoing improvements and enhancements of FSU systems and business processes as they relate to enterprise identity management to ensure the integrity of identity data. Works proactively with FSU business analysts and functional owners on opportunities for increased efficiencies and provides solutions for recurring issues. Review Oracle's Customer Connection proactively for new functionality. Works with Oracle, the Higher Education Users Group, and Product Advisory Group on future development efforts.

Performs duties in compliance with ITS policies, guidelines, and processes pertaining to support requests, work orders, project management, change management, and incident management. Appropriately utilizes associated tools in accordance with ITS standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or other appropriate degree and one year experience or a high school diploma or equivalent and five years of experience. (Note: or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to five years.)

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of API technologies

Experience with managing directory's (I.E. Azure/EntraID, Active Directory and LDAP)
