Infrastructure Materials Manager Responsibilities


  • Engage with internal customers and gain nuanced understanding of their current and future needs.

  • Shape the customer-facing vision of the team and roadmap internal activities in support of the vision.

  • Understand the underlying factors behind material demand through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Sense changes to demand/supply and adjust proactively.

  • Support road mapping and aligning business vision for automated systems and tools and reporting for Supply/Demand Planning.

  • Determine appropriate equipment and staffing levels to load, unload, move, and store materials.

  • Manage activities related to strategic or tactical purchasing, material requirements planning, controlling inventory, warehousing, and receiving.

  • Analyze information about supplier performance and procurement program success.

  • Design and implement supply chains that support business strategies adapted to changing market conditions and new business opportunities.

  • Possess in-depth understanding of systems and tools.

  • Identify gaps, troubleshoot, and provide inputs for future system development.

  • Delegate and explain execution to colleagues and cross-functional partners.

  • Oversee operational tools and databases to standardize and scale data across the Material Management Organization.

  • Ensure data accuracy and automate processes, to maintain and improve fill rate metrics.

  • Formalize and standardize data analysis & coordination across the org and cross-functional partners, which includes, planning, finance & transportation, to mitigate and manage risk.

  • Supports Materials Management team in determining optimal supply chain execution for all products by providing analyses based on demand, failure rates, decommissions, EOL/LTB, and cost.


Minimum Qualifications


  • Requires a Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field and 24 months of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Experience must include 24 months in the following:

  • 1. Inventory Management, Supply Chain planning, Logistics and Fulfillment

  • 2. Working with technical teams to drive changes or enhancements to logistics systems/tools

  • 3. Program management, problem solving & analysis, vendor management

  • 4. Logistics

  • 5. Supply Chain Analysis

  • 6. Communicating with executives and cross functional teams

  • 7. Managing multiple, complex projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with cross-functional teams

  • 8. Process mapping, gap analysis, requirements elicitation and data analysis.

$152,183/year to $152,900/year + bonus + equity + benefits
