Reporting to the Director of the Business Office, the Business Operations Manager will be independently responsible for the account management of the enterprise-wide apparel and footwear supplier agreement. The incumbent will serve as the supplier's primary point of contact as well as the buyer/purchaser for the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics and other campus units. The position will work closely with Senior Associate Athletic Director of External Affairs and Senior Associate Athletic Director of Finance and Administration. This incumbent will assist in the development, interpretation and implementation of concepts/policy for financial and resource planning, and control of the budget. In addition, the incumbent will oversee the day to day operations for the Intercollegiate Athletics Building as well as supervise the student assistant staff for the Business Office and Support Services. The position will assist several key management and coaching personnel with administrative support and related budgetary analysis. Support to summer camps including purchasing, accounts receivable and staff coordination. Assist with student and staff training within the business office.

Required:
- Preferred at least 1-2 years experience working with campus policies.
- Moderate to Advanced knowledge of Microsoft excel application.
- Bachelor's degree in related area and / or equivalent experience / training.
- Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software. Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment and decision making.
- Ability to function effectively as a member of a team.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Preferred:
- Intermediate knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources. Skills to provide coaching and mentoring to support staff.
