Qualifications
Completion of undergraduate core coursework in computer science, computer programming, computer technology or systems analysis; 24 months training or 24 months experience in performing EDP audits in order to evaluate information systems design & controls & information processing accuracy & data integrity.

Responsibilities of the Internal EDP Auditor 2 include but are not limited to:
- Plays an active role as a team member to help accomplish departmental goals and provides valuable contributions towards completing the Audit Plan
- Develops and maintains productive and cooperative working relationships with auditees
- Performs internal audits in compliance with the structural framework and guidelines established by the Institute of Internal Auditor Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
- Independently conducts analysis, verification and appraisal of data processing systems
- Conducts moderately complex audits on current information system applications and platforms
- Develops workflow analysis of information to identify design problems, such as internal control or processing deficiencies
- Gathers information from knowledgeable internal and external sources to determine appropriate audit methodology
- Analyzes effectiveness of IT controls, standards, policies and operating procedures
- Develops audit programs and guidelines to test information systems applications
- Documents audit findings and recommendations to address problems
- Prepares audit reports of observations, minor and major non-compliance and makes recommendations on quality standards
- Performs other duties and works on special projects
