The Ohio Lottery Commission supports teleworking as a work model for employees. Telework can improve an employee's work/life balance and increase employee productivity. The Ohio Lottery Commission has offices located around the State of Ohio in various cities, the successful candidate would have access to shared workspace at one of these offices for workplace reporting requirements.

Responsibilities of the Internal EDP Auditor 2 include but are not limited to:
  • Plays an active role as a team member to help accomplish departmental goals and provides valuable contributions towards completing the Audit Plan
  • Develops and maintains productive and cooperative working relationships with auditees
  • Performs internal audits in compliance with the structural framework and guidelines established by the Institute of Internal Auditor Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing
  • Independently conducts analysis, verification and appraisal of data processing systems
  • Conducts moderately complex audits on current information system applications and platforms
  • Develops workflow analysis of information to identify design problems, such as internal control or processing deficiencies
  • Gathers information from knowledgeable internal and external sources to determine appropriate audit methodology
  • Analyzes effectiveness of IT controls, standards, policies and operating procedures
  • Develops audit programs and guidelines to test information systems applications
  • Documents audit findings and recommendations to address problems
  • Prepares audit reports of observations, minor and major non-compliance and makes recommendations on quality standards
  • Performs other duties and works on special projects

Qualifications

Completion of undergraduate core coursework in computer science, computer programming, computer technology or systems analysis; 24 months training or 24 months experience in performing EDP audits in order to evaluate information systems design & controls & information processing accuracy & data integrity.
