Role and Responsibilities

SOLIDWORKS Generative Apps team is looking for a Quality Assurance & Product Definition Intern.

The SOLIDWORKS Generative Apps team is responsible for defining, implementing, and testing new and improved functionality across multiple applications. The team strives to ensure that the functionality not only meets, but also exceeds their needs and expectations.

The Quality Assurance & Product Definition Intern will be responsible for supporting the Quality assurance and Product Definition team with their projects and day-to-day tasks. You will have the opportunity to work on and influence user facing projects. You will gain an understanding of the software development process, as well as advance your own CAD/PLM skills.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating test plans and test projects related to migration to 3DEXPERIENCE Platform

• Migrating customer data to 3DEXPERIENCE Platform sandboxes to find issues and functionality gaps

• Create issues in bug tracking system and noting where improvements can be made

• Research and define workflows between CircuitWorks and Cadence for Electrical-Mechanical Engineer collaboration

• Documenting your findings in knowledgebase

This is a paid 6 month internship in the Dassault Systèmes Corp. offices located at 175 Wyman Street Waltham, MA 0245. You will be expected to follow a hybrid work model

Qualifications

• A rising senior actively enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or a graduate student pursuing a Master's degree in Mechanical or other Engineering for the duration of the internship with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 /4.0 scale

• Experience with 3D modeling, SOLIDWORKS preferred and data management is a plus

• Able to work onsite in the Waltham office with a hybrid schedule

• Self-motivated with polished interpersonal skills and maturity

• Highly organized, thorough, and precise

• Well-developed skills in Microsoft Office

• Strong command of English
