PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teacher as Learner:
  1. Possess current content knowledge in the area of instructional responsibility.
  2. Continue as a life-long learner.
  3. Participate in professional learning activities.

  5. Learn new strategies and technologies to engage students in challenging, authentic, and meaningful learning experiences.

Teacher as Relationship Builder

  4. Consistently encourage and support each student to reach his/her fullest potential.

Teacher as Designer and Facilitator:
  1. Value and collaborate with parents as partners in their children's education.

  3. Encourage students' curiosity, self-discipline, and ownership of learning.
  4. Solicit and incorporate the voices of students concerning their learning.

EVALUATION: Job performance will be evaluated following provisions of the State Department of Education and/or Pike Road Board of Education policy on the evaluation of certified personnel.
