Inventory and Service Support Specialist

Akkodis is recruiting for an Inventory and Service Support Specialist in Rochester, NY.

Pay: $20 - $22 W-2 only; NO THIRD PARTIES FOR THIS JOB

Responsibilities for the Inventory and Service Support Specialist role include:

Primary Objectives:
Maintain inventory of parts/lasers with a >97% accuracy level, ensure all goods are shipped/received in a timely manner, provide support for service team, and ensure the warehouse is a safe and organized environment.

Specific Responsibilities of the Job include:

• Inventory Control - Maintain parts listing and data online in Service Max/Salesforce, organization of parts on shelves and in warehouse, investigate inaccuracies between physical counts and Service Max data, parts usage analysis and creation of parts orders, transfer of parts inventory between departments/manufacturers
• Shipping & Receiving - Box up and create shipping labels for all items shipping out via UPS including international shipments, receive items via UPS and distribute to departments and/or receive data into Service Max, maintain inventory levels of shipping supplies, and items being shipped to/from OEM suppliers.
• Service Phone Support - Answer phones and provide customer service for customers having problems with their lasers, creation of parts orders for replacement items being shipped to/received from customers. Occasional travel for service repairs
• Continuous Improvement - develop and implement ongoing improvements within the warehouse and service operations and supporting business processes.

Requirements for this Inventory and Service Support job include:

• Knowledge and experience in Organization, Logistics, Project Coordination, Inventory Control, Continuous Improvement
• Above average skills in data entry, parts ordering, shipping & receiving, Project Coordination
• Excellent Written Skills and Oral Communication
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems in regards to inventory, Quality, Logistics
• Demonstrated ability to work without supervision or assigned tasks
• Demonstrated ability to work well with internal and external customers to keep satisfaction high
• General knowledge of Microsoft Office and business systems (SalesForce & Service Max)
• Dependability

Education and Experience

Degree or equivalent experience : Logistics, Supply Chain & Project Management

Pay Details: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
