Piper Companies is currently searching for a contract IT Help Desk Technician to work On-site in El Paso, TX for a consulting firm impacting the lives of vulnerable and underserved populations around the world. The IT Help Desk Technician contributes to Tier 1 technical support for end users.
Responsibilities for the IT Help Desk Technician include:
• Follows Help Desk policies and procedures and provides timely response to incidents assigned to them in the ticketing system
• Provides internal and external training support and advice to end users
• Installs, configures, maintains, upgrades, repairs and replaces information
• Completes project tickets and participates in departmental and inter-departmental project teams and committees regarding planning, purchasing, and implementing information technology devices and services
Required Qualifications for the IT Help Desk Technician include:
• Bachelor's degree in technology or related experience
• 2 Years experience in a help desk role
• Working knowledge of application software to assess problems in the execution of applications
• Working knowledge of computer systems, peripherals, and communication hardware
• Ability to work independently and in a team to achieve predetermined goals and meet deadlines
• Prior experience with Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Online
Compensation for the IT Help Desk Technician include:
• $22/hr - $27/hr Depends on level of degree/combined years of experience
