Daikin Applied is seeking a Manager of IT supporting our Sales and Marketing business unit to provide the project resources and project management to implement software application/system requirements of prioritized business and IT projects for business functional areas. Leads team that supports the Sales Rep Help Desk in support of critical existing and future ordering and configuration applications, as well as other sales related applications. What you will do:
  • Deliver operational excellence by planning, organizing, and managing staff and overall operations to ensure the stable and secure operation of Daikin Applied’s IT functions pertaining to business functional areas
  • Support business activity by providing project resources and project management to implement the requirements of prioritized business and IT projects
  • Build and develop a high performing team that meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Manage the day-to-day operation and support of Business functional areas
  • In conjunction with the IT leadership, design and implement short-term strategic plans to ensure IT functions for business functional areas meets existing and future requirements
  • Participate in the development of overall IT strategies in collaboration with IT Leadership
  • Lead team that supports our Sales Reps Help Desk. This Support Team supports Daikin Tools, Sales Portal, and other applications as well as will be instrumental for Daikin Tools Next Gen supports

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of experience in Support Team Leadership, SLA Management, Metric Reporting, and resource management or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 4 years of direct leadership experience
  • Expertise with leading support specialists
  • Expertise with case/ticket management
  • Ability to define and enforce SLAs
  • Expertise working with Service Now
  • Expertise working with Azure DevOps

Preferred Expectations:
  • Master's Degree Industry certifications such as A+, MCSE, and CCNA
