We are hiring for a new Club position, someone who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help with IT needs as well as other operational projects at our headquarters, training facility, and Snapdragon Stadium. We are looking for someone who likes to solve problems, wear multiple hats, and partner with other team members to create a phenomenal work experience and culture.
Responsibilities
• Identify, develop, and implement processes and procedures for the organizations technology systems aligned with club goals and objectives.
• Oversee the maintenance, installation, and upgrade of networks, desktop, hardware, software and cloud applications.
• Implement and monitor security protocols to safeguard club data and systems.
• Collaborate with different departments on technology solutions.
• Administer licenses and keep up to date reports on equipment and applications.
• Create and maintain IT budget.
• Configure laptops for new hires and offboard/reset computers for exiting employees.
• Advise on best practices around security of systems and applications and make software recommendations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
• Develop and implement business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations, data breach, or loss.
• Establish efficiency and efficacy standards, provide recommendations for improvement of the IT infrastructure ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Support in the operational gameday setup at our home venue.
• Assist in projects across our different club facilities; business office, training facility and home stadium
• Manage the installation of the field LED boards and execution of the run of show during matches.
• Perform other related IT and operational duties as business needs evolve.
Qualifications & Work Conditions
• 4+ experience working in system management and network maintenance.
• Lift, push and move equipment up to 40 lbs, on occasion.
• Ability to sit or stand at a desk for prolonged periods and work on a computer.
• Travel between local facilities within San Diego County.
• Ability to work home games and events during non-traditional business hours such as on weekends or evenings.
