IT PMO Intern

This role is based in Plantation FL. The duration will be 3 - 6 months and work schedule will be 30 - 40 hrs. per week.

We are excited to offer an internship opportunity for a motivated, detail-oriented, dynamic, and tech-savvy individualto join our IT PMO team. As an intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in corporate environment, and will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects of Americas IT Team. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with Americas IT Communications program, following-up with key stakeholders to provide monthly updates for presentations to Americas Management Board and IT Senior Management team, supporting with IT training and campaigns.

Americas Communications:

· Assist in reviewing and proofreading articles, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to the company's communication guidelines. Your input will contribute to maintaining high-quality content for publishing on DHL internal platforms.

· Responsible for updating various Communications channels with relevant content. This will involve collaborating with different teams to gather information and ensure timely updates.

· Responsible for reaching out to colleagues and contacts Globally to schedule training sessions on various topics.

· Review submissions of success stories from Americas’ colleagues, which are intended highlight exceptional achievements and innovations by employees. You will review and curate these stories, ensuring they align with our communication guidelines and showcase the diverse talents and accomplishments of our team members.

Monthly Reporting:

· Manage the timeline and deadlines for collecting KPIs updates, editing, and finalization of the monthly presentations. This will require strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure a smooth and timely process.

Campaigns and Training Program:

· You will actively contribute to the company's I LOVE IT campaign, aimed at promoting employee engagement and satisfaction. Your tasks may include coordinating campaign activities, assisting in the creation of campaign materials, and providing general support for campaign initiatives.

· Assist in preparing monthly reports to track the progress and outcomes of the IT Foundation Program.

· Coordinate program sessions, ensuring smooth logistics and a seamless learning experience (managing agendas, coordinating participants and facilitators, arranging availability of materials and tablets).

· Support program's business hosts and sponsoring managers by providing debrief sessions and ongoing support. This may include discussing the progress of the participating team members, addressing any challenges, and offering guidance to ensure the success of their team's participation in the program.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Recent graduate/currently pursuing a degree in a relevant field (Business Analytics, Information Systems, Communications) or related discipline.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.


• Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive insights from data.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a willingness to learn.


• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Applications including MS Excel, MS PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with automation tool (i.e. Power BI) is a plus, but not required
