Duties
- Responsible for the discipline of planning, organizing, and managing resources; and implementing best practices.
- Serve as lead to facilitate the preparation of a sufficiently detailed business case.
- Provide supporting information to include critical path and key milestones, costs, schedule and performance regarding assigned projects.
- Develop briefing materials and make presentations to Center Chief and other Joint Service Provider (JSP) Centers as part of the recurring Project Management Reviews (PMRs) and as required.
- Represent the Joint Service Provider, and the Joint Service Provider (JP) Center Chief, to DISA Headquarters Leadership and external agencies, as required.
- Work with external agencies/organizations, both government and commercial sector, to ensure Joint Staff remains current with the state of commercial business technology practices while integrating Joint Staff's IT requirements within DoD standards.
- Provide technical oversight on key contracted IT systems and services projects and contracted efforts. Review and approve designs, management, development and integration plans for Joint Staff IT systems and tools.
