The Information Technology Risk Senior performs annual, comprehensive information technology risk assessments. You will be part of the first line of defense and will partner with IT and IS groups, business groups and project teams to perform IT risk analysis for applications, infrastructure, and data elements. Working with technology and business leaders to mitigate risks, you will identify potential areas where existing information technology procedures require change, track risk mitigation and report on the risk profile of the IT organization. You will report to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management.

What you do:
  • You will support and adjust risk framework elements and integrate them into the Integrated Information Risk management program and framework. Support program effectiveness measures and Goals
  • You will identify, assess, and monitor information technology and security related risks to understand how they impact the effectiveness of IT and the business processes these risks support
  • You will work with information technology, information security, and business leaders to mitigate risk, identify potential areas where existing information technology procedures require change; respond to internal and external assessments, including audits, regulatory exams, and third-party partners
  • You will develop communication channels and collaboration with other risk partners both within the company (Information Security, Enterprise Risk Management) and other operating entities (i.e, Allianz SE, Allianz Technology of America, etc.) to ensure program components meet our needs
  • You will maintain knowledge of changing technologies and provide recommendations for adaptation of new technologies or policies
  • You will assist with risk management adoption and implementation for emerging technologies and changing regulations (Artificial Intelligence, EU's Digital Operational Resilience Act)
  • You will consult on issues related to information technology, information security, enterprise architecture, risk management


What you bring:
  • 2+ years' experience in one or a combination of the following: technology governance, risk management, compliance, or auditing.
  • Knowledge of IT Governance, risk management and compliance concepts and frameworks (i.e., COBIT).
  • Experience with security compliance programs, standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to report findings and support the development of business cases to influence executive management or management committee members on the need for controls to mitigate risk.
  • Four-year degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Audit or related field; or equivalent experience
