WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
As an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), you will use your knowledge of and experience with The Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response (ASPR) to optimize business results and customer experience by:
- Serving as an expert technical advisor developing approaches and establishing specifications and security guidelines for information systems.
- Serving as senior subject matter expert in reviewing security vulnerabilities in information systems, performing analysis to understand security risks, and developing remediation plans to secure information systems.
- Serving as the subject matter expert in emerging technologies such as "cloud", "infrastructure as a service", "platform as a service" and "software as a service" and guiding architecture and development of information systems.
- Serving as a subject matter expert in transforming manual procedures into computer driven automated workflows that support well-designed business cases while ensuring strong security posture.
- Monitoring problem trends, synthesizing data and proposing proactive and well-researched actions to manage and secure information systems in an independent manner.
