Provides operational support to senior leadership. Ensures efficient, compliant and professional operations. Evaluates and implements policies and procedures to optimize performance. Job Responsibility

'- Monitors status of special projects on an ongoing basis.
- Anticipates and tracks operational and tactical risks and provides direction on strategic solutions.
- Collaborates with department heads on projects to maximize the use of manpower, supplies and equipment while maintaining or improving the quality delivery of services.
- Manages day to day business of the operations department while balancing the responsibilities of various business lines such as business analysis, vendor, and risk management.
- Provides ongoing support in preparation of budgets and allocation of funds.
- Assists in the formulation of new policies and procedures. Often required to interpret policies, standards, requirements, and approaches to meet work objectives.
- Identifies trends within the scope of work and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.
- Develops new methods for improving services and creating efficiencies.
- With general guidance, responsible for working on assignments of limited to moderate complexity.
- Assists Department Head with annual budget creation (OpEx and CapEx), coordinating creation of budget review packages and tracking actuals against approved plans.
- Assists Department Head with the development, implementation and tracking of departmental goals and strategies.
- Assists Department Head with the creation of executive level presentations.
- Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification

'- Bachelor's Degree in a related field required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in information systems, required.
- 1-3 years of IT experience with demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff, required
- 1-3 years of project management experience, preferred.

  • This is a 5 days a week on-site position at Northern Westchester and Phelps hospital in Westchester NY
