Location: 100% remote
Overview: Have a legacy application on-prem, migrating to a vendor hosted solution. Day-to-day consists of configuration of servers, interfaces, logic within the applications, making application updates to support new environment.
Software Engineer:

• Looking to retain same functionality of the application across current on-prem hosting and vendor environments.
• Will need to evaluate the logic of the application, dependencies, current configurations and data mappings and make any necessary changes and application upgrades to successfully migrate the application with minimal downtime
• Vendor is an off-the-shelf product around which they have built a lot of custom components, integrations, APIs to move data or get it into a particular format
• Some traditional API work will be needed, but the majority will be enabling services to pick up files (including image files), compiling, and depositing--building the plumbing from one environment to the other
• Building SSIS packages and stored procedures --orchestrating a lot of data movement through stored procedures, some can be altered/optimized but will be building net new. Do not have an ORM/Entity framework to orchestrate.
• Do require both experience in Java and .NET--currently borrowing Engineers from other teams and now looking for a dedicated Engineer for this project so needs to come in and hit the ground running.
• ADO pipelines and TFS source code management

Must Haves:

• Java
• C#/.NET
• SSIS
• SQL Server
• SQL (querying, stored procedures)
• Azure DevOps

Nice to Have:

• Visual Studio
• TFS
• Banking/Financial experience
