Insight Global is looking for a Junior Business Analyst for one of their large media and entertainment clients. This is a 1 year contract and is requiring to work 8:30am- 5:30pm Pacific Standard Time. This person will be working on a high priority project around the organization and consolidation of content workflows and media assets into a single sports platform. You will be joining a team of 4 other Business Analysts. The other Business Analysts will be focused on the heavy requirement gathering. While this person will be responsible for gathering some requirements, you will mostly be responsible for coordination, gathering information and presenting it in a succinct way and triaging/making recommendations on how to improve the process and ways in which these digital media assets, clips and programs are feeding into the platform. There are about 10,000 assets coming in, 1500 published, thousands that need to get ready for import. You will work closely with the Director of this team and the other Business Analysts and be responsible for coordinating workflows and processes, triaging when necessary and offering support.

Required Skills & Experience

2 years of as a Business Analyst, gathering requirements and defining user stories
Experience within media industry or working with media/digital assets
Strong understanding of processes and attention to detail
Ability to triage, solve problems and make recommendations
Experience gathering requirements and creating u stories utilizing tools like Jira
