Insight Global is looking for a Junior Risk Coordinator to join one of our largest financial service clients sitting onsite in Dallas, TX or remotely in Mexico. This person will be joining the Enterprise Technology and Operations team, working closely with Technology Infrastructure, Application, Risk Management and Corporate Services teams to coordinate and ensure the smooth execution of Technology (application and Infrastructure) events (building power down, Disaster Recovery testing, etc.) as well as work on team projects to improve the effectiveness of such programs across the US, Asia, Bengaluru, and EMEA regions. This person should possess a solid understanding of core Infrastructure concepts (networks, servers, databases, storage, applications, etc.) This person should be extremely sharp and have the ability to troubleshoot when an issue arises and provide possible alternatives to help establish solutions and confirm remediation of the issue.

Required Skills & Experience
• 1 year of experience in technology stack including infrastructure OR application
• Functional understanding of data centers, storage, network and servers
• Project Management skills which will be used to coordinate data center power downs, disaster recovery tests.
• Prior experience as a hands on system administrator, engineer or Field tech

Location to sit onsite five days a week in Dallas, TX or fully remote in Mexico City

Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
• Ability to write Unix/Windows Scripts
• Previous finance industry experience
• Business Continuity or Disaster Recovery Certifications - CBCP, CBCI, DRP, BCP, DRCS, BCM

Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts (disaster recovery, ransomware, risk assessments, compliance testing, regulatory, business continuity planning, etc.)
