At MilliporeSigma, as the Lab Maintenance Technican 2, you are responsible for a wide variety of assignments from minor to moderately complex. Work may range from adjustment and minor repairs to assisting with the complete overhaul of heavy/complex equipment. Completes all training objectives on time (Safety, SOPs, OJT)Installs and setup of new lab equipmentPreventative maintenance and repairs of incubators, refrigerators, freezers, centrifuges, and other lab equipmentResponsible for the accuracy, clarity and compliance of all documentation i.e. PM task sheets, work records, logbooks, etc, generated during the work shiftPerforms a variety of assignments from minor to moderately complexProvides general planned maintenanceMonitors service of outside vendors and inspects field work performed as neededTrains with Sr. Maintenance Mechanic to increase skill sets and overall knowledge of buildingsResearches and orders materials for repairs as neededPerforms tasks in accordance with SOPs and regulations (cGMP and GLP)Complies with company health and safety regulations and proceduresPerforms duties independently with minimal supervision Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED2+ Years working on lab equipmentPhysical Attributes: Lifting up to 50 poundsWear PPE such as lab coats, shoe covers, gloves and masks Preferred Qualifications:3 years work experience in cGxP environment is desirable.
