We are currently hiring for a Lab Technician at a medical device manufactuer in Ocean, NJ.

Shift time:

• Monday - Friday
• normal shift (8am- 5pm)

Job Summary:

We are Seeking a meticulous Laboratory Technician to perform essential laboratory tasks and maintain high standards in scientific testing. This role involves executing standardized tests, documenting results, maintaining lab equipment, and ensuring compliance with laboratory safety protocols. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting scientific research and ensuring the integrity of laboratory operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out standardized scientific tests on materials, intermediate products, and final outputs, adhering to prescribed methods and protocols.
• Ensure the upkeep and proper functioning of laboratory equipment, addressing minor issues and arranging for professional repairs when necessary.
• Regularly review and revise laboratory procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Maintain documentation practices, following all safety and procedural guidelines.
• Validate and verify test results, performing necessary calculations to ensure precision and reliability.

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a science-related field (e.g., Chemistry, Biology, or similar).
• Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a scientific laboratory environment.

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in techniques such as pipetting, sample streaking etc/
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Soft Skills:

• Exceptional organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
